Anti Smoking Campaign
Powerfully communicating the dangers of smoking. Final Major Project in Year 2 of Art & Design Level 3
My Final major project in Year 2 of my Art and Design course was based off Anti Smoking.

Consisting of me creating my own brief to then follow for the months ahead. Smoking is something that is advertised globally surrounding health problems & why to stop but was there a way to appeal in design that hadn't been done? This was the challenge I set myself. Through talking to individuals that smoke & what advice helps and doesn't help I gained a better understanding of what could communicate to the target audience.
After in-depth research I narrowed down my ideas to replacing cigarettes with bullets followed by "You wouldn't take a bullet, why take a cigarette." This questions the motive behind smoking that you wouldn't take a bullet, so why take a cigarette when it has the same outcome later down the line... Exaggerate but powerful.
